Roasted Asparagus

This is one of my favorite side dishes to prepare for dinner. Not only is it delicious, but it adds so much color to my plate. It is one of my favorite vegetables! Please note the recipe does not have exact measurements because I add all of the ingredients to my liking. If it looks good, it will taste good. 🙂 This recipe is one we have at least 1 time a week!
 

Roasted Asparagus
I just LOVE the flavor of asparagus and the color it adds to my plate. It is a healthy and EASY addition to any meal!

Ingredients
  1. Asparagus spears
  2. Minced garlic, to taste
  3. Fresh ground pepper, to taste
  4. Olive oil
  5. Lemon juice
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Wash asparagus spears & trim the ends
  3. Place in an oven safe dish
  4. Drizzle with some olive oil
  5. Sprinkle minced garlic over spears
  6. Sprinkle with black pepper
  7. Cover with foil and place in oven for 13-15 minutes until asparagus is fork tender
  8. Spritz with some lemon juice & serve immediately

  2. 10 spears = 1 green & 1 spoon
