Easy Enchilada Sauce

I can never seem to find a can of enchilada sauce that isn’t laden with processed junk and added sugars so I make my own! I haven’t used enchilada sauce for awhile and always forget just how easy it is to make! There is something so calming to me KNOWING EXACTLY what is going into my meals. The best part is, this makes enough to use for a second soup! Looks like I am going to need to find another recipe that calls for this easy Enchilada sauce! This will also freeze well until I need to use it again.

Do you think it would be good with a low sodium broth instead of the water, or at least some broth and some water?

      Oh yeah! Absolutely! 🙂

    Is this real spicy?

    1. Angela Dimitrelias

Hi Leslie – It isn’t too spicy! You can adjust the spicier ingredients up or down, to taste. 🙂 That is one cool thing about making your own – you can adjust accordingly! 🙂

Is there a way to omit the flour? Would corn starch work?

    1. Angela Dimitrelias

I think corn starch would work. 🙂
