21 Day Fix French Toast

When I was pregnant, one of my cravings was French Toast. Come to find out, the hospital where I delivered our boys has some AMAZING bad-for-you French Toast that I totally ate and LOVED. I haven’t had it again until just the other day when I made this! No, I am not pregnant, but a girl is allowed to want some French Toast delicious-ness!!! I had never made french toast before and WOW, it was SO easy and YUMMMMMM. I loved it. The boys ate it right up too – yum!

My 21 Day Fix French Toast hits all of the high points to satisfy those cravings AND it’s guilt free! A true win-win! I surprised the boys with this meal last weekend. It was a cooler morning, we were all still in our PJ’s and it just seemed like the perfect time to whip up some comfort food for breakfast! It was a hit! I may just have to make this again in the morning! All this talk about it has me wanting it ASAP!

I hope you enjoy these as much as we did!

So what would be a serving size for one person plus the nutritional value

    1. Angela Dimitrelias

I would say it depends on the number of yellows you need – 1 slice of bread equals one yellow. 🙂 I hope that helps! Angela

What container of the syrup be? Or category will it go in?

    1. Angela Dimitrelias

I only use 1-2 tsp and count them as a sweetener tsp. 🙂

Do you think I could leave the honey out of the mix and just use it as my “syrup”?

    1. Angela Dimitrelias

      Absolutely!

Calories per serving? And nutritional content?

    1. Angela Dimitrelias

I dont currently have the calorie counts for my website, but you can go to http://www.caloriecount.com and copy/paste the recipe in and it will give you that information! 🙂

I assume 1 serving is 1 slice right?

    1. Angela Dimitrelias

Yes – that is correct. 🙂

What is the 1/2 red in this recipe?

    1. Angela Dimitrelias

The eggs 🙂 If you don’t use all of the egg mixture, you can count as less than 1/2.

    What does T stand for?

    1. Angela Dimitrelias

      Tablespoon = T; Teaspoon = t

What is the syrup considered how much can I use

    1. Angela Dimitrelias

It would be a sweetener spoon — I would only use a couple tsp of pure maple syrup. 🙂

Could I use just all egg whites instead of whole eggs?

    1. Angela Dimitrelias

      Absolutely!

Do you use anything to cook the french toast in? Like butter or oil?
